Auction result misses estimated price range
In July 2019 a collector was able to acquire the work Young Girl With A Fan by James Carroll Beckwith for USD 1,875.00 (€ 1,684.64). This price was achieved in the auction American Art Online at Sothebys in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 2,000.00 – 3,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by James Carroll Beckwith achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work A Study With Sunlight in November 2016 with an auction result of USD 125,000.00 (€ 118,169.79).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Juli 2019 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Young Girl With A Fan von James Carroll Beckwith für USD 1.875,00 (€ 1.684,64) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion American Art Online bei Sothebys in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 2.000,00 – 3.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von James Carroll Beckwith erzielen.
