Auction result well in line with expectations
In March 2002 Christies in London held the auction British, Victorian and Scottish Pictures including Pictures, which included the work Barges, Holland by James Campbell Noble. The price achieved of GBP 3,760.00 (€ 6,146.61) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Other works by James Campbell Noble have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in August 2007 the work A Dutch Waterway was auctioned for GBP 5,760.00 (€ 8,514.80).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im März 2002 führte Christies in London die Auktion British, Victorian and Scottish Pictures including Pictures durch, in der auch die Arbeit Barges, Holland von James Campbell Noble zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 3.760,00 (€ 6.146,61) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 3.000,00 – 5.000,00 angegeben worden. Andere Arbeiten von James Campbell Noble konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im August 2007 die Arbeit A Dutch Waterway für GBP 5.760,00 (€ 8.514,80) versteigert.
