The result of USD 5,000.00 (€ 3,604.90) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of USD 5,000.00 – 7,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by James Brade Sword - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Off the Rhode Island Coast, which sold at auction in May 2019 for USD 8,125.00 (€ 7,287.65).
