The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 8,000.00 – 12,000.00, the actual price achieved of USD 8,125.00 (€ 7,287.65) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Off the Rhode Island Coast is the most expensive artwork by James Brade Sword that we have observed at auctions so far.
