This artwork by Jaime Gili achieved an unexpectedly high price at Phillips in London in September 2009. In the NOW: Art of the 21st Century auction, the work Matias sold for GBP 10,625.00 (€ 11,622.86) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 6,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Jaime Gili; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Barbaro sold at auction in February 2018 with the realized price of USD 18,750.00 (€ 15,355.01).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Jaime Gili erzielte im September 2009 bei Phillips in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion NOW: Art of the 21st Century wurde die Arbeit Matias für GBP 10.625,00 (€ 11.622,86) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 6.000,00. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Jaime Gili; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Barbaro im Februar 2018 mit dem Hammerpreis von USD 18.750,00 (€ 15.355,01).
