Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Jaime Gili could be acquired at Phillips in London in February 2010 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Contemporary Art Day auction, the work Casper changed hands for GBP 2,500.00 (€ 2,788.98) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 3,000.00 – 4,000.00. Admittedly, works by Jaime Gili have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Barbaro in February 2018 with an auction result of USD 18,750.00 (€ 15,355.01).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Jaime Gili konnte im Februar 2010 bei Phillips in London für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Contemporary Art Day wechselte die Arbeit Casper für GBP 2.500,00 (€ 2.788,98) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 3.000,00 – 4.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Jaime Gili auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Barbaro im Februar 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 18.750,00 (€ 15.355,01).
