This artwork by Jafar Rouhbakhsh achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Dubai in October 2007. In the International Modern and Contemporary Art auction, the work without title sold for USD 85,000.00 (€ 58,750.35) - well above the upper estimate of USD 30,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Jafar Rouhbakhsh; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot without title sold at auction in April 2008 with the realized price of USD 133,000.00 (€ 85,431.65).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Jafar Rouhbakhsh erzielte im Oktober 2007 bei Christies in Dubai einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion International Modern and Contemporary Art wurde diese Arbeit ohne Titel für USD 85.000,00 (€ 58.750,35) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von USD 30.000,00. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Jafar Rouhbakhsh; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit ohne Titel im April 2008 mit dem Hammerpreis von USD 133.000,00 (€ 85.431,65).
