Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Untitled (The Birds) by Jafar Rouhbakhsh was sold in the Modern and Contemporary Middle Eastern Art including Baghdadiyat Part IIIraqi Masterpieces from the Jawdat, Madhloom and Selim Collections auction at Bonhams in London in November 2021. The price achieved of GBP 5,100.00 (€ 5,987.88) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jafar Rouhbakhsh achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work without title in April 2008 with an auction result of USD 133,000.00 (€ 85,431.65).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Untitled (The Birds) von Jafar Rouhbakhsh wurde im November 2021 in der Auktion Modern and Contemporary Middle Eastern Art including Baghdadiyat Part IIIraqi Masterpieces from the Jawdat, Madhloom and Selim Collections bei Bonhams in London versteigert.
