A top price for Jacques Quinet - as previously expected
In December 2019 Christies in Paris held the auction Un oeil à part : Collections d'un esprit libre, which included the work ENFILADE, PROBABLEMENT UNIQUE, 1942 by Jacques Quinet. The result of EUR 25,000.00 was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of EUR 25,000.00 – 35,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, ENFILADE, PROBABLEMENT UNIQUE, 1942 is the most expensive artwork by Jacques Quinet that we have observed at auctions so far.
Ein Spitzenpreis mit Ansage
Im Dezember 2019 führte Christies in Paris die Auktion Un oeil à part : Collections d'un esprit libre durch, in der auch die Arbeit ENFILADE, PROBABLEMENT UNIQUE, 1942 von Jacques Quinet zur Versteigerung kam. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von EUR 25.000,00 entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 25.000,00 – 35.000,00. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist ENFILADE, PROBABLEMENT UNIQUE, 1942 das teuerste Kunstwerk von Jacques Quinet, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
