Auction result well in line with expectations
In March this year Bonhams held the auction Prints & Multiples, which included the work Parapentes, Circa 1980 by Jacques Monory. The price achieved of EUR 127.50 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 100.00 – 150.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jacques Monory achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Dimanche Matin (N°247 Bis), 1966 in October 2007 with an auction result of EUR 92,940.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im März diesen Jahres führte Bonhams die Auktion Prints & Multiples durch, in der auch die Arbeit Parapentes, Circa 1980 von Jacques Monory zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 127,50 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 100,00 – 150,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Jacques Monory erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Dimanche Matin (N°247 Bis), 1966 im Oktober 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 92.940,00.
