Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Eléments du désastre n°30- 1993 by Jacques Monory was auctioned at Artcurial in Paris in June this year. It changed hands for a price of EUR 5,904.00 achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of EUR 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jacques Monory achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Dimanche Matin (N°247 Bis), 1966 in October 2007 with an auction result of EUR 92,940.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Eléments du désastre n°30- 1993 von Jacques Monory kam im Juni diesen Jahres bei Artcurial in Paris zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von EUR 5.904,00 den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 4.000,00 – 6.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Jacques Monory erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Dimanche Matin (N°247 Bis), 1966 im Oktober 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 92.940,00.
