Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Jacques Martin Ferrières achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in New York in June 2021. In the Impressionist & Modern Art auction, the work Saint Gervais sold for USD 52,920.00 (€ 44,665.77) - well above the upper estimate of USD 20,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Jacques Martin Ferrières; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Vase De Fleurs sold at auction in February 2007 with the realized price of USD 72,000.00 (€ 54,421.77).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Jacques Martin Ferrières erzielte im Juni 2021 bei Sothebys in New York einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Impressionist & Modern Art wurde die Arbeit Saint Gervais für USD 52.920,00 (€ 44.665,77) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von USD 20.000,00. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Jacques Martin Ferrières; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Vase De Fleurs im Februar 2007 mit dem Hammerpreis von USD 72.000,00 (€ 54.421,77).
