Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Thésée - 1943 by Jacques Lipchitz was sold in the Modern Art auction at Artcurial in Paris in April this year. It changed hands for a price of EUR 3,411.00 achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of EUR 2,500.00 – 3,500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jacques Lipchitz achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Figure in November last year with an auction result of USD 4,380,000.00 (€ 4,242,952.63).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Thésée - 1943 von Jacques Lipchitz wurde im April diesen Jahres in der Auktion Modern Art bei Artcurial in Paris versteigert. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von EUR 3.411,00 den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 2.500,00 – 3.500,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Jacques Lipchitz erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Figure im November letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 4.380.000,00 (€ 4.242.952,63).
