Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Jacques Hérold achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Paris in June 2018. In the POST-WAR AND CONTEMPORARY ART Paris, Day Sale auction, the work Le miroir intérieur sold for EUR 10,625.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 5,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Jacques Hérold - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Le Grand Transparent, which sold at auction in July 2005 for EUR 22,200.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Jacques Hérold erzielte im Juni 2018 bei Christies in Paris einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion POST-WAR AND CONTEMPORARY ART Paris, Day Sale wurde die Arbeit Le miroir intérieur für EUR 10.625,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 5.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Jacques Hérold mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Le Grand Transparent beobachtet, die im Juli 2005 für EUR 22.200,00 versteigert wurde.
