In June 2018 Christies in Paris held the auction POST-WAR AND CONTEMPORARY ART Paris, Day Sale, which included the work Le bouclier by Jacques Hérold. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 4,750.00 58% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Jacques Hérold have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Le Grand Transparent in July 2005 with an auction result of EUR 22,200.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um 58 % übertroffen
Im Juni 2018 führte Christies in Paris die Auktion POST-WAR AND CONTEMPORARY ART Paris, Day Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit Le bouclier von Jacques Hérold zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 4.750,00 und damit 58% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Jacques Hérold auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Le Grand Transparent im Juli 2005 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 22.200,00.
