In November 2012 Christies in Amsterdam held the auction Old Masters and 19th Century Art, which included the work A wooded river landscape with a hunter on a path by Jacques d'Arthois. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 11,875.00 48% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Jacques d'Arthois have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work A wooded landscape with figures and a dog on a path, with a river and a castle in the distance in July 2014 with an auction result of GBP 58,750.00 (€ 74,102.22).

Im November 2012 führte Christies in Amsterdam die Auktion Old Masters and 19th Century Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit A wooded river landscape with a hunter on a path von Jacques d'Arthois zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 11.875,00 und damit 48% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Jacques d'Arthois auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit A wooded landscape with figures and a dog on a path, with a river and a castle in the distance im Juli 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 58.750,00 (€ 74.102,22).
