In September 2016 Sothebys in London held the auction Prints & Multiples, which included the work Victory Reclining Amid Trophies (Bartsch 23; Hind 22) by Jacopo de' Barbari. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 5,000.00 (€ 5,790.62), 25% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jacopo de' Barbari achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Portrait Of Albrecht Of Brandenburg (1490-1545) in July 2017 with an auction result of GBP 1,448,750.00 (€ 1,616,582.53).

Im September 2016 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Prints & Multiples durch, in der auch die Arbeit Victory Reclining Amid Trophies (Bartsch 23; Hind 22) von Jacopo de' Barbari zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 5.000,00 (€ 5.790,62) und damit 25% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Jacopo de' Barbari erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Portrait Of Albrecht Of Brandenburg (1490-1545) im Juli 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 1.448.750,00 (€ 1.616.582,53).
