Auction result well in line with expectations
The work The Crucifixion by Jacopo da Ponte was auctioned at Sothebys in New York in January 2007. The price achieved of USD 264,000.00 (€ 203,108.17) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 200,000.00 – 300,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jacopo da Ponte achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Adoration Of The Shepherds in January 2014 with an auction result of USD 8,901,000.00 (€ 6,593,333.33).

Die Arbeit The Crucifixion von Jacopo da Ponte kam im Januar 2007 bei Sothebys in New York zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 264.000,00 (€ 203.108,17) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 200.000,00 – 300.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Jacopo da Ponte erzielen.
