Auction result well in line with expectations
In June 2002 Christies in Amsterdam held the auction PICTURES, WATERCOLOURS & DRAWINGS INCLUDING FLOWER PICTURES, which included the work A church interior during the mass by Jacob Pelgrom. The price achieved of EUR 2,390.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. Admittedly, works by Jacob Pelgrom have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Panoramic view of a river landscape in April 2002 with an auction result of EUR 11,950.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juni 2002 führte Christies in Amsterdam die Auktion PICTURES, WATERCOLOURS & DRAWINGS INCLUDING FLOWER PICTURES durch, in der auch die Arbeit A church interior during the mass von Jacob Pelgrom zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 2.390,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 2.000,00 – 3.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Jacob Pelgrom auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Panoramic view of a river landscape im April 2002 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 11.950,00.
