Auction result well in line with expectations
In June 2002 Christies in Amsterdam held the auction PICTURES, WATERCOLOURS & DRAWINGS INCLUDING FLOWER PICTURES, which included the work Farms in a hilly landscape by Jacob Pelgrom. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of EUR 700.00 – 900.00, the actual price achieved of EUR 717.00 could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jacob Pelgrom achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Panoramic view of a river landscape in April 2002 with an auction result of EUR 11,950.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juni 2002 führte Christies in Amsterdam die Auktion PICTURES, WATERCOLOURS & DRAWINGS INCLUDING FLOWER PICTURES durch, in der auch die Arbeit Farms in a hilly landscape von Jacob Pelgrom zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von EUR 700,00 – 900,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von EUR 717,00 konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Jacob Pelgrom erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Panoramic view of a river landscape im April 2002 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 11.950,00.
