Auction result well in line with expectations
In July 2013 Sothebys in London held the auction Old Master & British Paintings Day Sale, which included the work Portrait Of A Boy, Full Length, In Pink Silk Playing With Two Puppies by Jacob van Loo. The price achieved of GBP 47,500.00 (€ 54,277.03) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 40,000.00 – 60,000.00. Admittedly, works by Jacob van Loo have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Danaë in June 2020 with an auction result of USD 275,000.00 (€ 244,857.98).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juli 2013 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Old Master & British Paintings Day Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit Portrait Of A Boy, Full Length, In Pink Silk Playing With Two Puppies von Jacob van Loo zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 47.500,00 (€ 54.277,03) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 40.000,00 – 60.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Jacob van Loo auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Danaë im Juni 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 275.000,00 (€ 244.857,98).
