Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In December 2014 Sothebys in London held the auction Old Master & British Paintings Day Sale, which included the work Still Life With Peaches, Plums And Grapes In A Wan-Li Porcelain Dish, All Upon A Ledge Partially Draped With A Green Cloth by Jacob van Hulsdonck. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 70,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 76,900.00 (€ 98,995.80). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jacob van Hulsdonck achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Still Life With Plums, Grapes And Peaches In A Wicker Basket, With Cherries, Hazelnuts, A Beetle And A Butterfly On The Wooden Tabletop Beneath in January 2010 with an auction result of USD 1,874,500.00 (€ 1,351,478.01).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Dezember 2014 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Old Master & British Paintings Day Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit Still Life With Peaches, Plums And Grapes In A Wan-Li Porcelain Dish, All Upon A Ledge Partially Draped With A Green Cloth von Jacob van Hulsdonck zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 70.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 76.900,00 (€ 98.995,80) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Jacob van Hulsdonck erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Still Life With Plums, Grapes And Peaches In A Wicker Basket, With Cherries, Hazelnuts, A Beetle And A Butterfly On The Wooden Tabletop Beneath im Januar 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 1.874.500,00 (€ 1.351.478,01).
