Auction result well in line with expectations

The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 100,000.00 – 150,000.00, the actual price achieved of USD 112,500.00 (€ 93,175.42) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jacob van Hulsdonck achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Still Life With Plums, Grapes And Peaches In A Wicker Basket, With Cherries, Hazelnuts, A Beetle And A Butterfly On The Wooden Tabletop Beneath in January 2010 with an auction result of USD 1,874,500.00 (€ 1,351,478.01).
