In July 2011 Sothebys in London held the auction Old Master and British Paintings Evening Sale, which included the work A Still Life Of Tulips, Roses, Bluebells, Daffodils, A Peony And Other Flowers In A Glass Roemer On A Wooden Ledge With A Dragonfly by Jacob van Hulsdonck. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 385,250.00 (€ 442,132.01), 28% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Jacob van Hulsdonck - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Still Life With Plums, Grapes And Peaches In A Wicker Basket, With Cherries, Hazelnuts, A Beetle And A Butterfly On The Wooden Tabletop Beneath, which sold at auction in January 2010 for USD 1,874,500.00 (€ 1,351,478.01).

Im Juli 2011 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Old Master and British Paintings Evening Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit A Still Life Of Tulips, Roses, Bluebells, Daffodils, A Peony And Other Flowers In A Glass Roemer On A Wooden Ledge With A Dragonfly von Jacob van Hulsdonck zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 385.250,00 (€ 442.132,01) und damit 28% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Jacob van Hulsdonck mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Still Life With Plums, Grapes And Peaches In A Wicker Basket, With Cherries, Hazelnuts, A Beetle And A Butterfly On The Wooden Tabletop Beneath beobachtet, die im Januar 2010 für USD 1.874.500,00 (€ 1.351.478,01) versteigert wurde.
