A top price for Jacob Spin - as previously expected
The work The sailing frigate 'Johanna' in calm water by Jacob Spin was auctioned at Christies in Amsterdam in February 2008. The price achieved of EUR 3,000.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 2,500.00 – 3,500.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, The sailing frigate 'Johanna' in calm water is the most expensive artwork by Jacob Spin that we have observed at auctions so far.
