Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In May 2016 Christies in Amsterdam held the auction Old Masters & 19th Century Art - (including Dutch Impressionism), which included the work The painter Frederik Hendrik Kaemmerer at work in Oosterbeek by Jacob Maris. Here, the upper estimate of EUR 18,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for EUR 18,750.00. Admittedly, works by Jacob Maris have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work De Brug (bij Rijswijk): the bridge in October 2007 with an auction result of EUR 120,250.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Mai 2016 führte Christies in Amsterdam die Auktion Old Masters & 19th Century Art - (including Dutch Impressionism) durch, in der auch die Arbeit The painter Frederik Hendrik Kaemmerer at work in Oosterbeek von Jacob Maris zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von EUR 18.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für EUR 18.750,00 einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Jacob Maris auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit De Brug (bij Rijswijk): the bridge im Oktober 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 120.250,00.
