Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Jacob Maris achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Amsterdam in June 2015. In the Old Masters & 19th century Art - (including Dutch Impressionism) auction, the work Near Fontainebleau sold for EUR 7,500.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 3,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jacob Maris achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work De Brug (bij Rijswijk): the bridge in October 2007 with an auction result of EUR 120,250.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Jacob Maris erzielte im Juni 2015 bei Christies in Amsterdam einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Old Masters & 19th century Art - (including Dutch Impressionism) wurde die Arbeit Near Fontainebleau für EUR 7.500,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 3.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Jacob Maris erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit De Brug (bij Rijswijk): the bridge im Oktober 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 120.250,00.
