Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Off to school by Jacob Maris was sold in the Old Masters & 19th century Art - (including Dutch Impressionism) auction at Christies in Amsterdam in June 2015. Here, the upper estimate of EUR 5,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for EUR 5,625.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jacob Maris achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work De Brug (bij Rijswijk): the bridge in October 2007 with an auction result of EUR 120,250.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Off to school von Jacob Maris wurde im Juni 2015 in der Auktion Old Masters & 19th century Art - (including Dutch Impressionism) bei Christies in Amsterdam versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von EUR 5.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für EUR 5.625,00 einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Jacob Maris erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit De Brug (bij Rijswijk): the bridge im Oktober 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 120.250,00.
