Auction result misses estimated price range
In June 2017 a collector was able to acquire the work The canal: salad gardens near The Hague by Jacob Maris for EUR 40,000.00. This price was achieved in the auction The former Kamerbeek Collection at Christies in Amsterdam and was even below the estimate range of EUR 60,000.00 – 80,000.00 set by the auction house. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Jacob Maris - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work De Brug (bij Rijswijk): the bridge, which sold at auction in October 2007 for EUR 120,250.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Juni 2017 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit The canal: salad gardens near The Hague von Jacob Maris für EUR 40.000,00 erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion The former Kamerbeek Collection bei Christies in Amsterdam erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 60.000,00 – 80.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Jacob Maris mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit De Brug (bij Rijswijk): the bridge beobachtet, die im Oktober 2007 für EUR 120.250,00 versteigert wurde.
