Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Jacob Kassay could be acquired at Phillips in London in April 2017 for an unexpectedly low price. In the New Now auction, this work without title changed hands for GBP 1,250.00 (€ 1,484.40) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 7,000.00 – 9,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jacob Kassay achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work without title in November 2013 with an auction result of USD 317,000.00 (€ 232,985.45).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Jacob Kassay konnte im April 2017 bei Phillips in London für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion New Now wechselte diese Arbeit ohne Titel für GBP 1.250,00 (€ 1.484,40) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 7.000,00 – 9.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Jacob Kassay erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit ohne Titel im November 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 317.000,00 (€ 232.985,45).
