Auction result well in line with expectations
This work without title by Jacob Kassay was auctioned at Phillips in London in February 2016. The price achieved of GBP 40,000.00 (€ 51,255.06) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 30,000.00 – 50,000.00. Admittedly, works by Jacob Kassay have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work without title in November 2013 with an auction result of USD 317,000.00 (€ 232,985.45).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Jacob Kassay kam im Februar 2016 bei Phillips in London zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 40.000,00 (€ 51.255,06) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 30.000,00 – 50.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Jacob Kassay auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit ohne Titel im November 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 317.000,00 (€ 232.985,45).
