A top price for Jack Smith - as previously expected
The work Interior With Figures by Jack Smith was auctioned at Sothebys in London in July 2008. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 50,000.00 – 70,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 51,650.00 (€ 65,621.91) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Interior With Figures is the most expensive artwork by Jack Smith that we have observed at auctions so far.
