The result of USD 15,000.00 (€ 13,692.38) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of USD 15,000.00 – 20,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Jack Leonard Shadbolt - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Proclamation, which sold at auction in November 2011 for CAD 42,000.00 (€ 30,607.89).
