In the Ireland / France: Art & Literature auction, the work Photograph of the Artist | Photographie de l'artiste sold for EUR 1,386.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 700.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jack Butler Yeats achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Whistle of a Jacket in May 2001 with an auction result of GBP 1,103,750.00 (€ 1,850,462.00).

Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Jack Butler Yeats erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The Whistle of a Jacket im Mai 2001 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 1.103.750,00 (€ 1.850.462,00).
