Auction result well in line with expectations
This work without title by Jaap Egmond was sold in the Pictures Watercolours and Drawings auction at Christies in Amsterdam in September 2007. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of EUR 3,000.00 – 5,000.00, the actual price achieved of EUR 3,500.00 could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Jaap Egmond have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Toetsenspel 1 op 1 (Game of Keys 1 on 1) in November 2018 with an auction result of EUR 17,500.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Jaap Egmond wurde im September 2007 in der Auktion Pictures Watercolours and Drawings bei Christies in Amsterdam versteigert. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von EUR 3.000,00 – 5.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von EUR 3.500,00 konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Jaap Egmond auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Toetsenspel 1 op 1 (Game of Keys 1 on 1) im November 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 17.500,00.
