Sold at the upper estimate price
The work 'Ua Wears Toga', 2003 by Izima Kaoru was sold in the Photographs auction at Sothebys in London in May 2016. The auction ended at the price of GBP 3,000.00 (€ 3,914.68), which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of GBP 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. Admittedly, works by Izima Kaoru have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Tominaga Ai Wears Prada, #401, 2004 in May 2012 with an auction result of GBP 16,250.00 (€ 20,246.79).

Die Arbeit 'Ua Wears Toga', 2003 von Izima Kaoru wurde im Mai 2016 in der Auktion Photographs bei Sothebys in London versteigert. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von GBP 3.000,00 (€ 3.914,68) entsprach exakt dem oberen Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 2.000,00 – 3.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Izima Kaoru auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Tominaga Ai Wears Prada, #401, 2004 im Mai 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 16.250,00 (€ 20.246,79).
