Auction result misses estimated price range
In May 2021 a collector was able to acquire the work 'Tanja De Jaeger Wears Christian Dior', 2002 by Izima Kaoru for GBP 1,134.00 (€ 1,319.44). This price was achieved in the auction Photographs at Sothebys in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 4,000.00 – 6,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Izima Kaoru achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Tominaga Ai Wears Prada, #401, 2004 in May 2012 with an auction result of GBP 16,250.00 (€ 20,246.79).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Mai 2021 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit 'Tanja De Jaeger Wears Christian Dior', 2002 von Izima Kaoru für GBP 1.134,00 (€ 1.319,44) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Photographs bei Sothebys in London erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 4.000,00 – 6.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Izima Kaoru erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Tominaga Ai Wears Prada, #401, 2004 im Mai 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 16.250,00 (€ 20.246,79).
