Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Ivor Abrahams could be acquired at Sothebys in London in March 2020 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Made in Britain auction, the work Two Figures changed hands for GBP 500.00 (€ 564.60) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 800.00 – 1,200.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Ivor Abrahams achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Five Tableaux in November 2016 with an auction result of GBP 12,500.00 (€ 14,748.77).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Ivor Abrahams konnte im März 2020 bei Sothebys in London für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Made in Britain wechselte die Arbeit Two Figures für GBP 500,00 (€ 564,60) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 800,00 – 1.200,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Ivor Abrahams erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Five Tableaux im November 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 12.500,00 (€ 14.748,77).
