Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Composition - 1967 by Ivan Contreras-Brunet was auctioned at Artcurial in Paris in June last year. It changed hands for a price of EUR 3,280.00 achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of EUR 2,500.00 – 3,500.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Ivan Contreras-Brunet - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Ohne Titel (Draht-Objekt). 1979., which sold at auction in December last year for CHF 11,875.00 (€ 12,011.53).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Composition - 1967 von Ivan Contreras-Brunet kam im Juni letzten Jahres bei Artcurial in Paris zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von EUR 3.280,00 den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 2.500,00 – 3.500,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Ivan Contreras-Brunet mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Ohne Titel (Draht-Objekt). 1979. beobachtet, die im Dezember letzten Jahres für CHF 11.875,00 (€ 12.011,53) versteigert wurde.
