Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Ivan Contreras-Brunet achieved an unexpectedly high price at Artcurial in Paris in October 2017. In the Post-War & Contemporary Art auction, the work Sans Titre - 1972 sold for EUR 9,360.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 3,500.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Ivan Contreras-Brunet; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Ohne Titel (Draht-Objekt). 1979. sold at auction in December last year with the realized price of CHF 11,875.00 (€ 12,011.53).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Ivan Contreras-Brunet erzielte im Oktober 2017 bei Artcurial in Paris einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Post-War & Contemporary Art wurde die Arbeit Sans Titre - 1972 für EUR 9.360,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 3.500,00. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Ivan Contreras-Brunet; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Ohne Titel (Draht-Objekt). 1979. im Dezember letzten Jahres mit dem Hammerpreis von CHF 11.875,00 (€ 12.011,53).
