Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Snowstorm (Fubuki) by Ito Shinsui was auctioned at Sothebys in London in May 2021. It achieved a price of GBP 8,190.00 (€ 9,529.25), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 17%. Admittedly, works by Ito Shinsui have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Taikyo (Before the mirror [Red geisha)|AID524033] in December 2021 with an auction result of GBP 52,920.00 (€ 63,122.46).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Snowstorm (Fubuki) von Ito Shinsui kam im Mai 2021 bei Sothebys in London zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 8.190,00 (€ 9.529,25) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 17%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Ito Shinsui auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Taikyo (Before the mirror [Red geisha)|AID524033] im Dezember 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 52.920,00 (€ 63.122,46).
