Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Komoro bosetsu (Evening Snow at Komoro) by Ito Shinsui was auctioned at Bonhams in London in May this year. The price achieved of GBP 2,560.00 (€ 2,978.58) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Ito Shinsui achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Taikyo (Before the mirror [Red geisha)|AID524033] in December 2021 with an auction result of GBP 52,920.00 (€ 63,122.46).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Komoro bosetsu (Evening Snow at Komoro) von Ito Shinsui kam im Mai diesen Jahres bei Bonhams in London zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 2.560,00 (€ 2.978,58) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 2.000,00 – 3.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Ito Shinsui erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Taikyo (Before the mirror [Red geisha)|AID524033] im Dezember 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 52.920,00 (€ 63.122,46).
