The work Fubuki (Snowstorm) by Ito Shinsui was worth USD 13,860.00 (€ 12,748.34) to a buyer in March this year. This price was achieved in the auction Arts of Asia Online at Christies in New York and exceeded the previously set upper estimate of USD 3,000.00 many times over. Admittedly, works by Ito Shinsui have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Taikyo (Before the mirror [Red geisha)|AID524033] in December 2021 with an auction result of GBP 52,920.00 (€ 63,122.46).
Kunstwerk zum Vierfachen des oberen Schätzpreises versteigert
Die Arbeit Fubuki (Snowstorm) von Ito Shinsui war einem Käufer im März diesen Jahres USD 13.860,00 (€ 12.748,34) wert. Dieser Preise wurde in der Auktion Arts of Asia Online bei Christies in New York erzielt und übertraf den zuvor angesetzten oberen Schätzpreis von USD 3.000,00 um ein Vielfaches. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Ito Shinsui auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Taikyo (Before the mirror [Red geisha)|AID524033] im Dezember 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 52.920,00 (€ 63.122,46).
