Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Fumage by Ithell Colquhoun was auctioned at Christies in London in June 2005. It changed hands for a price of GBP 276.00 (€ 409.05) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 200.00 – 300.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Ithell Colquhoun achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Sunflower in September this year with an auction result of GBP 79,140.00 (€ 79,140.00).
