Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In January 2007 Christies in New York held the auction The House Sale, which included the work Two Trees by Italo Scanga. The »bidding war« ended at USD 480.00 (€ 369.29), 20% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Italo Scanga achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Untitled (Landscape With Jug) Signed And Dated 'Italo Scanga 1988' (Lower Right) Acrylic And Gouache On Paper In Artist Frame 45¾ X 35½ In. (116.2 X 90.2 Cm.) Painted In 1988. Untitled (Tree And Coin) Signed And Dated 'Italo Scanga 1989' (Lower Ce in January 2008 with an auction result of USD 8,750.00 (€ 5,895.83)
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Januar 2007 führte Christies in New York die Auktion The House Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit Two Trees von Italo Scanga zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 480,00 (€ 369,29) und damit 20% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Italo Scanga erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Untitled (Landscape With Jug) Signed And Dated 'Italo Scanga 1988' (Lower Right) Acrylic And Gouache On Paper In Artist Frame 45¾ X 35½ In.
