Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Venezianina by Italico Brass was sold in the Dipinti e Sculture del XIX e XX Secolo auction at Il Ponte in October 2014. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of EUR 3,500.00 – 4,000.00, the actual price achieved of EUR 3,600.00 could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Italico Brass have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Le ricamatrici, 1912 in May 2002 with an auction result of EUR 21,080.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Venezianina von Italico Brass wurde im Oktober 2014 in der Auktion Dipinti e Sculture del XIX e XX Secolo bei Il Ponte versteigert. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von EUR 3.500,00 – 4.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von EUR 3.600,00 konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Italico Brass auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Le ricamatrici, 1912 im Mai 2002 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 21.080,00.
