The work Barena a Venezia by Italico Brass was sold in the ARTE DEL XIX SECOLO auction at Christies in Rome in June 2004. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 3,968.00 42% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Italico Brass have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Le ricamatrici, 1912 in May 2002 with an auction result of EUR 21,080.00.

Die Arbeit Barena a Venezia von Italico Brass wurde im Juni 2004 in der Auktion ARTE DEL XIX SECOLO bei Christies in Rom versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 3.968,00 und damit 42% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Italico Brass auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Le ricamatrici, 1912 im Mai 2002 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 21.080,00.
