Auction result well in line with expectations
In December last year Bonhams held the auction Post-War & Contemporary Online Sale, which included the work Zulhija by Isshaq Ismail. The price achieved of GBP 25,500.00 (€ 28,787.02) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 20,000.00 – 30,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Isshaq Ismail achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Nkabom 2 in March last year with an auction result of GBP 277,200.00 (€ 328,651.80).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Dezember letzten Jahres führte Bonhams die Auktion Post-War & Contemporary Online Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit Zulhija von Isshaq Ismail zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 25.500,00 (€ 28.787,02) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 20.000,00 – 30.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Isshaq Ismail erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Nkabom 2 im März letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 277.200,00 (€ 328.651,80).
