Auction result well in line with expectations
In December 2012 Sothebys in New York held the auction Israeli & International Art, which included the work Marchand De Chiffons by Issachar Ber Ryback. The price achieved of USD 8,750.00 (€ 6,635.83) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 8,000.00 – 10,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Issachar Ber Ryback achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Pogrom in November 2006 with an auction result of GBP 102,000.00 (€ 151,473.19).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Dezember 2012 führte Sothebys in New York die Auktion Israeli & International Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Marchand De Chiffons von Issachar Ber Ryback zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 8.750,00 (€ 6.635,83) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 8.000,00 – 10.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Issachar Ber Ryback erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Pogrom im November 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 102.000,00 (€ 151.473,19).
