A top price for Issachar Ber Ryback
This artwork by Issachar Ber Ryback achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in London in November 2006. In the Important Russian Pictures auction, the work Pogrom sold for GBP 102,000.00 (€ 151,473.19) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 40,000.00. This high result makes Pogrom the most expensive artwork by Issachar Ber Ryback that we have observed at auctions so far.
